are gorgeous and elegant!
Do you remember when you first
met swans? I think I was three years old. I can’t exactly remember that moment,
but I saw the photo that I was in my uncle’s arms and tried to touch the swans.
In Hong Kong, it is not easy to see swans. But you can go to Kowloon Park,
there are two or more swans and some flamingos.
In Britain, it is much easier to see swans.
If you want to see them, you can go to any park nearby. They look royal because
they are so elegant and bigger than other birds. That reminds me of a story from
Andersen’s Fairy Tales, where eleven princes turn into swans every night. When
you see the swans, can you imagine that they are princes?
Spring is the lovely season to
watch swans. We saw a swan couple bringing up their babies in spring. It was so
amazing! However, when the little swans grew up, some of them were missing. Do
you know why? Were they hurt? Were they flying away? I don’t know. And I don’t
even know swans can fly.
After searching the information on
the internet, now I know swans can fly. Later when we were at the seaside, some
swans flew over our heads. Oh, wait! I think I already know swans can fly when
I was young. The eleven princes in “The Wild Swans” flew to save their little
sister, right? I think I should search for information in my mind instead of
the internet.
