Lake Lingyee and Its Rivers

I have begun building my creative world, and I am completely immersed in it. In my mind, this world is far more complete than before. In the past, I tended to be more spontaneous—much like when I draw, following wherever my thoughts lead me. My art world was the same: if I wanted to write Emi’s story, I wrote it; if I wanted to paint, I painted; if I wanted to paint on stones, I painted on stones. They were like individual, scattered creations. But now, it feels as if there is a ‘Lake Lingyee’ high up on a mountain, from which several rivers gently branch out.

Lake Lingyee represents my deep understanding of myself, as well as the realisation of how my creations can bring joy to others. And so, several rivers have begun to flow from Lake Lingyee:

The ‘YouTube’ River — Created for soul nourishment and healing. I hope those who watch my videos feel a sense of ease and tranquillity as they tune in.

The ‘Emi’s Dreamy World Shop’ River — Every product carries a story. Beyond giving a soul to each of Emi’s drawings, I hope these stories create a warm and innocent haven for everyone.

The ‘Social Media’ River — Besides sharing my artwork, I hope the occasional Stories I post can warm people’s hearts, which is why I often share photos of nature. I have also started posting about my faith on Sundays, hoping to serve those who believe in Heavenly Father’s creation and salvation.

The ‘Blog’ River — My blog is mainly a space where I express my thoughts through words, and it is also where Emi’s stories are gathered. There are other rivers in my plan, but they have yet to come to life, as painting, video production, and writing already take up so much of my time. Still, those rivers yet to emerge will surely begin to flow gently, just like the rest.

I don’t know if these rivers will reach and nourish your heart, but I hope that, whichever stream you come across, there will always be a piece of work that brings a smile to your face.
